About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Leadbeam.io.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the core services that power our AI-driven marketing platform.
You’ll work on scalable systems, ensure reliability across millions of requests, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver impactful features for our global customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain backend services and APIs for high-performance applications.
- Build scalable event-driven pipelines using Kafka and other modern tools.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of production systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and data teams.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster engineering best practices.
- Participate in system design discussions and long-term technical roadmap planning.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production systems.
- Strong expertise in Node.js or Go, with experience in microservices.
- Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, Redis).
- Experience with distributed systems, caching strategies, and message queues (Kafka).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
- Knowledge of SaaS platforms, marketing automation, or AI-driven systems.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
