Customers choose Dover as their one-stop partner to reduce downtime and keep critical operations moving.  www.doverhydraulics.com  Territory: Western Pennsylvania & Eastern Ohio This role is responsible for developing new business, growing existing customer relationships, and promoting Dover Hydraulics' repair services and SunSource's fluid power products and solutions. The position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, including a transitional income guarantee when applicable.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective industrial customers
  • Identify opportunities for hydraulic repair services, cylinder repair, and fluid power products
  • Generate new business through prospecting, customer visits, and account development activities
  • Conduct customer presentations and recommend solutions based on operational needs
  • Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and executed
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, customer information, and opportunity tracking within company systems
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities
  • Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service throughout the sales process
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to maintain industry knowledge
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer needs and business growth

Experience, Education and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred 
  • 3+ years of industrial outside sales, fluid power sales, hydraulic repair sales, or related technical sales experience
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, and fluid power systems
  • Fluid Power certification is a plus 
  • Experience selling into steel mills, metals, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial markets is preferred 
  • Knowledge of hydraulic repair services and aftermarket support solutions is preferred 
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and work independently
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales reporting tools
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
